Our school is situated in a modern, air-conditioned
building in the heart of the main shopping and business area of Burleigh Heads.
Opposite our school is the world famous surfing beach, Burleigh Heads.
Our staff and teachers are dedicated professionals who
will provide you with ongoing assistance and support during your stay. Our
friendly teachers are qualified and experienced and classes are conducted in a challenging
and enjoyable way to help you learn English quickly and achieve your language
goals.
On arrival at our Centre you will participate in an
orientation programme which includes information about living on the Gold
Coast. You will also be assessed to ensure that you are placed in a class that
best suits your English level.

BHLC is an air-conditioned
building with many classrooms, an orientation room, student counsellor
offices, a kitchen, student library, computer room, student lounge and
outdoor balconies.

WHERE IS BURLEIGH HEADS?
Burleigh Heads is located on the beautiful Gold Coast,
60 minutes drive south of Brisbane airport, 20 minutes drive from Coolangatta
airport, or a 1.5 hour flight from Sydney Airport. Burleigh beach is lined with
beautiful green parks which have showers, barbeque areas and other facilities
all of which are free of charge. A short walk around the national park headland
of Burleigh Heads leads to the amazing Tallebudgera River where it meets the
Pacific Ocean. The waters are calm, crystal blue and there are a variety of
watersports available.

is only a 3 minute walk from Burleigh Heads Language Centre. |
CLIMATE
Average temperatures onthe Gold Coast vary from summer daytime averages
of around 28 degrees celcius to winter daytime temperatures of around 22
degrees. The water temperature of the Pacific Ocean at Burleigh Heads ranges
between 17 degrees in winter to 22 degrees in summer!
COST OF LIVING

equips students with knowledge and techniques to use in business
situations. The curriculum includes the use of various textbooks and

and the beach. On completion of their course, graduates leave the Institute
with the skills and confidence to commence working in the field. Australian
Institute of Permanent Makeup is Australia's leading and most respected
trainer in the field of Permanent Makeup (Cosmetic Tattoo). Students practice
all techniques on leather material (very similar to human skin) until they
are ready to progress to live models. Students are supervised 100% of
the time. Students will have the opportunity to perform the basic
