If you want to improve
your confidence in speaking English in real-life situations this is the course
for you. It gives you a solid foundation in the English language as it covers
all four language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. The main
focus however is on speaking and your teacher will encourage you to participate
actively in the lessons. The two morning lessons, which form the first module
of the day, are usually more grammar-oriented while in the second module this
knowledge is put into practice and activated to enable you to handle everyday
situations with confidence and fluency. You will be given reading and writing
exercises regularly in the form of homework.

INTENSIVE
ENGLISH
The same course content
as that of General English but the extra afternoon session is designed to give
you maximum study time with your teacher, increased exposure to the language
and the opportunity to revise any aspects of the language that you feel weak
in.

COMBINATION
COURSE
This course enables you to
combine a General English or Mini Group course with tuition on a one-to-one
basis. You will have the advantage of enjoying a multinational group course in
the morning while spending the afternoon in an individually tailored course.

Full Immersion
A similar course to the Compact Crash Course but at EC Cambridge, you combine
lessons with 15 hours in the company of one of your teachers or a native
speaker whose experience is similar to yours. This is an important part of the
course as it gives you an opportunity to practise 'out-of-the-classroom' use of
the language.
